petern23 Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 I can't seem to get the headset forward and back buttons to control Poweramp. When I first paired the headset, if I hit the forward and back buttons, WinAmp started automatically even if Poweramp was already playing. The buttons worked for WinAmp. I figured there might be a conflict so I uninstalled WinAmp. Now the buttons don't do anything in Poweramp or the stock player. I have "Respond to headset button" checked in the Poweramp options. admin Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 Thanks for the details.Yes, some apps (including WinAmp, MortPlayer and as you found, SP) don't follow Android 2.2 headset api and they basically gets all headset button presses, always, unless headset support is disabled in their options.
