WeAreTheBorg Posted August 22 Share Posted August 22 (edited) build-981-uni Xiaomi 14 Ultra Android 14, HyperOS 1.0.11.0.UNAEUXM (stock) Steps to reproduce: play .m4a audio file with E-AC3+JOC (Dolby Digital Plus Dolby Atmos) encoding. The song and the moment where JOC presence can be easily checked: Imagine Dragons: Whatever It Takes, 0:42. I can forward the file, but can not upload it due to the size limitation. The reason of the incorrect decoding is that eac3-joc is backwards compatible with eac3, and built-in Poweramp decoders can only decode eac3, what is shown in the app. If ffmpeg eac3-joc decoder doesn't exist, I suggest using device eac3-joc decoder on supported devices and throw warning message on unsupported devices.
