Benjie
Hello ! I've always wanted to know if Poweramp, when playing .DSD files, is taking advantage of my phone D/A converter (in my case, I'm using a Sony Xperia 1ii wich has a High Resolution A/D converter wich can take directly DSD file) or is Poweramp make a software downconvert to a lower resolution file wich any phone can play ? Thanks for your help !
Fitzian
Poweramp can play back DSF/DSD files but it converts to PCM (for any kind of DSP with such files this is necessary). If your device supports it, I'd recommend setting your output frequency to a multiple of 44.1, (such as 88.2 or 176.4 kilohertz).
