TBOD Posted March 24, 2011 Share Posted March 24, 2011 Using the app for a while I decided to purchase it.Used the sleep timer for the first time on a full battery and set it to 60 minutes. Had BT, Wifi, etc. all turned off, yet when I woke up 6 hrs later the music had stopped but my battery was done to next to nothing. The app stayed open and kept the screen on. admin Posted March 26, 2011 Share Posted March 26, 2011 Each PowerAMP release gets tested for 10-12 continuous playback on 10 various devices - there is not battery issue from PowerAMP alone as you described, but some other apps or combination of apps can do that (for example, scrobbling app sends constantly something to the internet and if you disabled wifi, it was via 3g, i.e. more taxing on battery, or other apps which sits on scrobbling events).Thanks!
