    @Ibrahimbo101 Thanks for the request.
    1. hex entry is possible, though for the theme/material u colors it won't make sense as these are dynamic.
    2. tab to apply color for what elements exactly? We currently have background, text, and buttons/icon colors and there are no other elements to apply color to.
    3. if all buttons/actions enabled, there may be not enough space, but if some are disabled, we can definitely have more or configurable padding there.

    Thanks for the reply!

Yup! for option 1 once using material u it doesn't make any sense,

I have all my widgets set to dark mode with 30% transparency so they not affected by material u

About 2 i have attatched screenshot in the text tab there is the title and other of artist info and meta i think have 2 seperate colors for them can be handy to add some contrast so can put darker color for artist name for example

3 is yeah could be problematic once everything is enabled one of things i tried is to move the widget into lower part of screen so there is smaller travel distance for my fingers and more accuracy it's an improvement so far

  2. Hey max!

I am trying to get design consistency with samsung's dark more and seen could be possible improvements:

    1. Add hex color field in the color picker

    2. Seperate in text tab the "title and "others" to be able to apply for them different hues

    3. In the buttons tap would appreciated if can have padding option between the buttons because i find myself sometimes pressing wrong ones by accident

Thanks alot in advanced for your efforts!

Apple's USB-C to 3.5mm DAC adapter also has the same problem. Whether it's by EU interference, lower voltage levels, or just Apple being Apple, I found its audio output was about 25dB lower than anther comparable adapter (UGreen). Going to try Samsung's own in-line adapter next, there's gotta be one out there that gives a decent output level but with no background hiss.

Sadly it's a known issue  android not able to fetch the driver correctly and directly unless you are rooted messing with ALSA at linux level, it can fetch dacs made for these phones or some brands standards normally tho like samsung or pixel's dongle but google made some implementation in kernel here in pixel for android https://android.googlesource.com/kernel/google-modules/aoc/+/32b45e2e08bcb3b6306ec9796d1f50ef44d0d514

    https://www.xda-developers.com/pixel-6-direct-usb-access-android-12l/

This what uapp and other players using for now having such an implementation for Poweramp max doesnt see it a convenient way to go he mentioned there is new apis he will look at so i hope we get to see in the near future

Cuz these app communicates with dac and sets vol to max once you exit the driver remains mounted at same vol till replugged again and the request is done by app triggering some system dialog which is not convenient either as its not systemwide implementation but another trick to go around

About apple dacs its already reported there is some dirty fix i tried to compile kernel for but it didnt work using the quirks mixer

    https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/242221770

One of testers in audiosciencereview showed that with this implementation it only works in the app that have direct access at 100% voltage and once switched to other apps around 90% voltage

Still better than the default 50%

So i hope users to be patient about it if the new apis Max has mentioned serve us any good would be better than doing the job twice and waste time cuz there is around 10secs of no audio between initializing direct access to dac and might throw some crackling here and there in some apps and in some not

  4. Google implemented it already last year just the app needs to access it surprisingly works with my galaxy s10 even with android 11 through another player than supports it

    Xda news:

    https://www.xda-developers.com/pixel-6-direct-usb-access-android-12l/

Would love to see max implementing it, it also sticks for systemwide till the external dac / dongle plugged again and re initiate the connection,

the max vol/voltage of apple dongle in android for some reasons initates at 0.5v -16db in android was able to set to 1v output 0 db as it's intended to be like in iphone or windows machine

    Thanks in advance

  5. Hi max thanks for the implementation! maybe a possible enhancement that can be done:

    Attatched screenshot

    1. The option settings->look and feel -> skin

The selected theme to be considered day theme

    2. The option settings -> look and feel -> follow day /night mode

To be replaced with "select dark theme"

And it shows all remaining skins under look and feel -> skin

One dark mode is off it uses 1 and once its on uses 2 allowing cross themes selection

My suggestion is due most themes dont support the current switch implementation beside of default dark and light themes for example Melodi theme doesn't

@Ibrahimbo101 thanks for the settings and details.

      Reveal hidden contents

There is clearly a bug in Samsung Android 12 media notification, as ROM updates notification only when notification is updated (logically), but not using any information from the notification itself (not so logically), but taking it from MediaSession (that is independent metadata about the song played. Android has like 3-4 of different metadata APIs written by different Android framework developer generations and we must use all of them, as they used in the different parts of Android randomly), which is updated at different time. Other Android 12 variants do notice MediaSession data change and update notification, but Samsung does not do that.

I added workaround in the next build-925.

    Works perfectly now thanks boss!

@Ibrahimbo101 unfortunately this can't be reproduced on my test Samsung devices on Android 12 (including S10@Exynos). I test on default Poweramp (and system) settings, so it may be some option affecting this - so please backup Poweramp settings and send to gpmaxmpz@gmail.com.

Does this happen for the specific song or all songs affected? What is the source of the song (sd card, internal memory)?

Note that there can be a delay in notification update if image is downloaded at the moment (Poweramp will update notification only after download completes or fails).

    - All of my songs affected it doesn't even update the song name in notification but keeps previous one till seeked manually

    - all of my songs embedded with thumbnails so it doesn't require downloading

    - my music folders are on external SD card most of them and 1 on internal storage

-i'll send backup file in gmail

    - another thing noticed everytime i skip to next song using bluettoth the equalizer reloads my Bluetooth present even if i set it to default no idea if that related but doesnt bother me

  8. Hi,

I am using galaxy s10 with oneui4 stable release i have issue that notification thumbnails arent synced with the music unless i pause the notification or skip to next sing from the notification only

If i skip to next song inapp it doesn't update the notification thumbnail for some reason

  9. Heys guys,

my request is related to skins that we have the option " settings theme" which allows us to pick between  dark, light and follow day/night mode for settings only.

If it's possible to make a specific skin to be assigned to light option by drop list for the user and another one assigned to dark mode and once switching between light and dark (night mode toggle) it automatically apploes the skin based on the select ones not just the app settings and vice versa.

    Thanks!

the build/prop carries note8 codename for getting led cover to work idk if that's he reason
