  1. Thanks for the quick response. I asked for help in the thread of the resurrection ROM for the S6 as well, that they could implement this feature or at least support in some way.

    hi res output oreo

What do you mean? I'm on Oreo 8.1.0 and have three output options in Poweramp (706): 1. OpenSL ES Output (16bit/48khz) 2. OpenSL ES HD Output (native 24bit/192khz) 3. Audiotrack Output (Java based) Now, obviously the OpenSL HD output could be the Oreo one you mean, and 192khz sounds fine but I can't enable it somehow because I can choose only between Bluetooth or USB DAC. Is there something I can do?
  3. Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) Android 8.1.0 Rom: Resurrection Remix v6.0.0 Poweramp Alpha Build 706 (though I would switch back to 704 if this was the better option in my case) Hi-Res Output isn't supported anymore, though it was with the 7.0 stock firmware (and worked perfectly there) ... but on my RR Rom, it seems as if Poweramp doesn't recognize my phone as a S6 that has the Hi-Res Output normally. Is there some kind of possibility to tell Poweramp that my device is still the same but with another rom? I've read that you can edit the build.prop to get the Hi-Res working. In the output options my device is listed as "unassigned device" causing the output to be OpenSL ES If anybody happens to know a solution to the problem that the Hi-Res output is not detected although the device supports it (when running the stock rom), I would like to try that out.
  4. Hello Poweramp community, I just wanted to report a bug that occurs a few times per week, while Poweramp is used everyday for hours. I have a Galaxy S6, it supports the Hi-Res Output, so I don't have to use the OpenSL EL Output, which is indeed worse than the Hi-Res Output. The bug is that sometimes when my headphones are plugged in, the music still is being played out of the speakers of the phone though the device treats the music/volume as if the headphones are plugged in as usual (tested with 4 different ones). The only way to remove the problem temporarily (it lasts a few days) is to reset the options from the Hi-Res Output, from the menu of the output plugins, and from the output settings in general. After that I wipe the app's cache and force close it, and restart my phone. It did never plays the music through my headphones without restarting the phone, or the other previous steps. I have no clue why this bug occurs, but it is annoying (public transportation). The Hi-Res Output is so much better than the other ones so it would be nice if it works all the time correct not just most of the time.
