  1. Nexus 7 2013 + USB DAC Fioo E10K (stock rom, rooted) http://fiio.net/en/products/27 Hi res audio on Poweramp only support 24bit-48Khz (according to output status) whereas the USB DAC should able to playback 24bit-96Khz. Any ideas? Attached is the audio_policy.conf and below is the /proc/asound/card2/stream0 file while playing back audio from poweramp FiiO DigiHug USB Audio at usb-msm_hsusb_host-1.4, full speed : USB Audio Playback: Status: Running Interface = 3 Altset = 2 URBs = 2 [ 5 5 ] Packet Size = 582 Momentary freq = 48000 Hz (0x30.0000) Interface 3 Altset 1 Format: S16_LE Channels: 2 Endpoint: 3 OUT (ADAPTIVE) Rates: 32000, 44100, 48000, 96000 Interface 3 Altset 2 Format: S24_3LE Channels: 2 Endpoint: 3 OUT (ADAPTIVE) Rates: 32000, 44100, 48000, 96000 Capture: Status: Stop Interface 2 Altset 1 Format: S16_LE Channels: 2 Endpoint: 2 IN (ADAPTIVE) Rates: 8000, 16000, 32000, 44100, 48000, 96000 Interface 2 Altset 2 Format: S24_3LE Channels: 2 Endpoint: 2 IN (ADAPTIVE) Rates: 8000, 16000, 32000, 44100, 48000, 96000 audio_policy.conf

    Poweramp alpha-build-702

Just tested the latest build on Note 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) both using stock 5.1.1 rom and connected to Fioo E10K USB DAC (supports up to 24bit/96Khz playback), my findings are: On Nexus 7 + Fioo e10K I can enable the hi res audio playback, but only at 24 bit 48Khz, playback without any problem. On Note 5 + Fioo e10K I also able to enable the hi-res audio playback thru usb audio, but at 24 bit 192Khz (which also odd, the DAC should not support that rate, although it playback fine) Btw, is it possible to enable bit perfect audio playback without any resampling? eg playingg 16 bit 44.1Khz will send to the DAC untouched.. and playing back 24bit 96K will also do the same
