Restoring Purchase on Amazon Fire Phone

I am trying to "unlock" the Poweramp app after having purchased the app. I do not have Google services installed, but I have the Google accounts in my Android email accounts. I get an error message: "No such Google or Email (Android 3.0+) account registered on device". Is there a different way to unlock the app? I do have the unlock key. I am running Fire OS 4.6.3 which should be compatible with KitKat (4.4).

OK, so one way to unlock the Poweramp app is to install Google services from http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-phone/general/google-play-store-4-6-1-version-4-apks-t3098592, (the 4.6.3 versions), unlock Poweramp as described in the docs, and then uninstall the Google services :-)

 

This should be made independent of the Google services though, as the email & purchase order number should be sufficient to authenticate that the purchase was actually done.
