EQ not working after phone update

Yesterday my Samsung s22+ updated, and I am now having issues with the EQ. Youtube and other apps do not work at all and the EQ wont recognize anything is playing on them. Also Spotify which has always worked, is playing low volume or slightly muffled audio at times, and sometimes the app makes a glitching sound when I skip or fast forward a song. This all happened after my phone updated to ONE UI 6, the Android version is 14. I uninstalled and reinstalled and that didn't work, and I restarted my phone but its still an issue.

I just wanted to add that it did recognize youtube and shows as active player but is still not playing through the EQ which is strange.
