Help! Search artist > All artist songs

I was hoping someone can help me with the only feature in Poweramp I hate!

If I search for an Artist and select that artist from the list of results, it shows me a list of all songs by that artist (which I can sort by album etc). I would like it instead to show the list of albums by that artist, and only show songs if I select the album.

The behaviour I want is the one you get if you select the Artist directly from the list of artists. I just want the Artist > Album hierarchy to show up regardless of how I navigated to the artist! I'm sure I'm missing something obvious...
