Next track sometimes doesn't work on bluetooth

Hello there,
After many years of using Poweamp successfully, a couple of weeks ago I started experiencing problems with my car's bluetooth.
Sometimes the next track function does not work. Others work without problem. So far I have not found a clear pattern for when it starts to fail.

My radio is a Pioneer.

Poweramp version: build-911-arm64-play
 have a Oneplus 5 with a custom rom (cr droid  with Android 11).

I have seen other forum threads with the same issue with locked phone. In my case, the problem also occurs with the phone awake (using navigation).

I would like to know if it is a problem with the app or maybe the rom.
Tomorrow I will try to go back to a previous version of Poweramp to see if the problem is solved.
