Black screen build 709 Nexus 7

I have been running my 2012 Nexus 7, running 7.1.2, in my car as an in dash tablet, with Poweramp as my main music player for many years now. As of the 709 update, the app fails to open and just goes to a black screen. This is also the case for builds 792 and 793. Reverting the app back to 704 works, and Poweramp opens as expected.

I can grab whatever logs you need from my device during the startup of Poweramp when the problem occurs as it is repeatable 100% and I can never open Poweramp after updating to a newer version.
