potato Posted July 19, 2018 Share Posted July 19, 2018 Running Poweramp build-709 on stock HTC 10, Android 8.0 As the title states, there is low-level noise(hissing) present while FLAC files are being played if the Open SL ES output is selected. The noise is most noticible during low-volumed or silent parts of a track. The issue does not occur with MP3 files, nor in Hi-Res output mode. Android 7.0 stock Happens with OpenSL ES HD, even with MP3 files, doesn't happen with Hi-Res output mode but I can't use it because regardless of buffer setting I get skipping.
