    Poweramp Build 809

OK, it's b-a-a-a-c-k! This is Build 809, Galaxy Note 9. I am actually playing In A Glass House by Gentle Giant as displayed in main area, but PA is showing (Wanna Get To Know You) That Good! by Shania Twain as the current song in the bottom area. As PA plays through the tracks in the playing album, it displays an entirely different, apparently random song in the "now playing" bottom area. If I long-press the "now playing" song title, PA does correctly bring me back to the correct playing album. I can even change albums and play them, but the "now playing" song is some random thing. I do not know exactly how I get this situation to happen in the first place. However, once it's happening, this might be a clue... If I do a song search and then tap that song to play it, the "now playing" song will be correct. I.e. if I tap the song's image to bring up the category list (all songs), the "now playing" song is correct. I can tap other songs in that category and they will display the correct "now playing" song. Yet, if I play a song from a playlist, the "now playing" song will now be wrong again.

  3. @Noetsi Wow! I noticed the exact same issue yesterday (Build 807, Galaxy Note 9) and I was about to report it. But it seems to have fixed itself and I can't reproduce it.
  4. OK, I have tested it (V3 805) with standard audio output ("OpenSL ES Output 16-bit 44.1KHz" on Galaxy Note 9, Android 8.1.0) over Bluetooth. Same result: PA does not pause when Google Maps or Samsung Health make announcements; it just keeps playing in the background so you can't make out what's being said. Perhaps it isn't supposed to pause, but it would be nice if it did when listening to audiobooks and podcasts. Failing that, a button to do a quick 10-second backup might be a useful addition. I will also try 806--maybe the problem has been fixed.
  5. @andrewilley I'm using "OpenSL ES Hi-res output 24-bit 96Khz" over Bluetooth. However, I will test it with standard audio output over Bluetooth.
  6. I disabled "Short Audio Focus Change" and it didn't help -- the issue remains that if Google Maps or Samsung Health make an announcement, Poweramp v3 805 keeps playing behind the announcement.
  7. I use PA to listen to podcasts while driving and walking. I just noticed that PA doesn't pause (the volume reduces but keeps playing) when Google Maps is announcing turn directions or Samsung Health is announcing workout progress, so I can miss several seconds of the podcast. Here are my settings. I'm running V3 805 on a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Android 8.1.0.
  8. @Lenx I was having similar problem. I purchased my original Poweramp through the website and V3 804 persistently failed to verify license. If that is your case too, then this worked for me: Uninstall Poweramp. Then download and install the Poweramp-v3-build-804-uni.apk (see first page of this topic) or the most recent 805 build in previous message from @maxmp. Then go to Settings > Already Purchased? > Website/Restore Purchase. Enter Email and Purchase Order ID. Tap "Restore Purchase", see "Thank you for purchasing Poweramp Full Version!". License should verify perfectly--did for me! Thanks to @Centries for the tip.

    Activation issue Play Store upgrade

I was having similar problem. Did you download and install the V3 APK from the top thread in this forum? That resolved my issue.
  10. This worked for me... Uninstall Poweramp, download the V3 APK from this thread and install that APK. Then, run Poweramp, go to Settings, Already purchased option. Enter your email and Order ID. Avoids the v2>v3 upgrade hassles.
  11. Many thanks--uninstalling my PA v2->v3 mess, then installing just the Poweramp-v3-build-804-uni.apk from this thread worked perfectly! Good call!
  12. With the V3 804 release on Galaxy Note 9 (Android 8.1), PA is persistently unable to verify my license. The indication in Settings is "Failed to Verify License". The details are "APM response - Bad orderId null". My license was purchased through the website. Here is what I am doing: 1. Install "Poweramp-2.0.10-build-588-uni.apk" 2. Run PA, see "Thank you for installing...trial software..." notice. 3. Go to Settings > Already Purchased? > Website/Restore Purchase. Enter Email and Purchase Order ID, all OK. 4. Tap "Restore Purchase", see "Thank you for purchasing Poweramp Full Version!". 5. Tap OK. PA v2.0 says "Purchase Verified/Press to hide". All OK so far. 6. Via Google Play Store, perform Update to "Poweramp Music Player (Trial)". 7. Run PA, see "Thank you for purchasing Poweramp Full Version!". 8. Tap OK, go to Settings. See "License Check Pending", spinning wheel, then "Failed to Verify License". 9. Uninstall PA and repeat from step 1. Same result. I have repeated these steps multiple times with no change. Any ideas how to get past this? Thanks so much. Cheers!
