  1. I have a little issue on Android Auto. After a phone call, music resumes, however after a few seconds its paused and I have to resume manually. Resume after phone call is turned on in audio focus settings.
  2. I'm using the phone and Poweramp with android auto, but I think I didn't turn on Hi-Res. What I want is no duck and no pause (to mix the audio of both the notification track and the music). I will play with the settings, thanks.
  3. @maxmp Thank you again for the official Android Auto support, fantastic! I have one issue though (this includes the previous v3 version too (latest stable)) on Oreo and Pie. In earlier versions and/or earlier android versions (Nougat and lower) there was an option to do "nothing" on short focus loss (e.g notifications, GPS navigation etc.). Currently I can pause the music or choose the option to lower the volume. Both are annoying for me. I set the navigation to a lower volume and it was perfectly mix onto the music. Could you bring back the old option or is this limited by the android system?

  5. Album art still not showing in android auto plugins, does anything changed in the SDK or is it a bug? It was fine with 709, and as far as I remember it was working in 790 and 793, but I'm not fully certain about the latter two.
  6. Always process album art still doesn't work with android auto plugins (PowerAMPCar, Poweramp Auto). I don't know if it's a bug with the plugins (or change in sdk), or Poweramp itself, but in b709 it's fine.
  7. It will overwrite, they cannot be installed separately, since they use the same package.
  8. I don't have this issue, but you can uninstall just like a regular app, from the Settings.
  9. It's restored, that's why it's not bothering me at all. Thanks
  10. I've just downgraded to 790 but will test it tomorrow. Does the plugin resets the media volume on purpose (or use it's own media volume)? It's not bothering me at all, just found out that even if I pull down media volume on the phone, the next time I start auto the music is loud. I was just surprised because I was testing at home and it's late here
  11. I have various issues with the newer builds too, so I'm thinking about downgrading too and wait for final version. Thanks for the info. By the way does the plugin opensource and uploaded it somewhere?
  12. A Quick test on the phone: It looks great, Poweramp hasn't start, cool Unfortunately it crashes if I slide de side menu, "playlist" shows, but then it crashes. And sometimes the play and previous/next track buttons are missing from the tiles on AA main screen. I will test it tomorrow in the car. Album art doesn't show up, but that's a Poweramp issue I guess because it was not work with the other plugin and it's wrong on BT too. I have the 797 build (RC) if it matters, Android Auto is the latest v3.6. Edit: LogCat 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): android.database.sqlite.SQLiteException: no such table: folder_playlist_entries (code 1): , while compiling: SELECT folder_playlists._id, folder_playlists.name, folder_playlists.path, (SELECT COUNT(*) FROM folder_playlist_entries WHERE playlist_id=folder_playlists._id) AS _track_count FROM playlists ORDER BY path 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteConnection.nativePrepareStatement(Native Method) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteConnection.acquirePreparedStatement(SQLiteConnection.java:889) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteConnection.prepare(SQLiteConnection.java:500) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteSession.prepare(SQLiteSession.java:588) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteProgram.<init>(SQLiteProgram.java:58) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteQuery.<init>(SQLiteQuery.java:37) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDirectCursorDriver.query(SQLiteDirectCursorDriver.java:44) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDatabase.rawQueryWithFactory(SQLiteDatabase.java:1327) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteQueryBuilder.query(SQLiteQueryBuilder.java:399) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteQueryBuilder.query(SQLiteQueryBuilder.java:333) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at com.maxmpz.audioplayer.rest.RestProvider.l1l1(":617) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at com.maxmpz.audioplayer.rest.RestProvider.query(":294) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.content.ContentProvider.query(ContentProvider.java:1020) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.content.ContentProvider$Transport.query(ContentProvider.java:239) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.content.ContentProviderNative.onTransact(ContentProviderNative.java:112) 09-26 00:59:38.222 E/DatabaseUtils(20847): at android.os.Binder.execTransact(Binder.java:565) From this it looks like Poweramp is crashing, can it be because you are using an older version of the SDK or is it a bug in the latest PA?
  13. Wow, fantastic! Thanks! Will try it tomorrow
  14. Hope it will happen within a year. But until that I'm perfectly happy with the plugin. Just waiting for @Phrosh to add the option to disable the activity switch.
  15. Max said it's planned, actually his exact words were "It's top priority for v4", but we need to wait until it happens.
  16. It would be great. I'm using it on my car screen, but this bothering me a little, because sometimes a start AA before plug into my car and configure the GPS. However if it was on music screen, it switches the task immediately. Actually, there is a settings for this in Poweramp to keep the service alive, so the system won't close it. The setting could be useful. I'm using PowerAMPCAR currently because of this, but it has its own bugs (sometimes it crashes the whole AA when I got a phone call, or dialing, I think that causes it because if I switch to playerpro the issue is gone), and your version has more settings (like the shuffle/repeat).
  17. @Phrosh Great stuff, I have one issue, when I start the module in AA the phone switch the activity to Poweramp and then I have manually switch back to AA. Can you fix this?
  18. Always process album art doesn't work in recent versions (795, 796, 797), on older betas it was fine. I want to use that with the unofficial Android Auto plugin (PowerampCar) which was posted here. This is the only thing that doesn't work, so I can live with it, just a report. It's not working on Nougat and Oreo too. On Oreo there are some other issues as well, still has some background service start exceptions in the logcat, and the bluetooth controls doesn't work in my car at all (so does the text and album art display), but the music plays if I start it on the phone. This issue only affects Oreo (or probably Pie, didn't have that on my old OnePlus X currently), on Nougat its working fine. I like the new version, and UI, thanks. Hope it will get official Android Auto support in the near or far future, it's a must have for me.

  20. I'm guessing that you are using oreo. The problem is not in this module, but in Poweramp itself. Services are crashing if you are not start Poweramp before you start any external tool. Its fine on Nougat, and the previous beta (709) is working fine on Oreo too.
  21. Doesn't matter for me until I can turn off the rating system. I never rate my songs, since I only listen to songs what I like.
  22. New UI but I miss the classic seekbar
  23. By the way the issue only affects Oreo, on Nougat it's working.
  24. The issue only affects Oreo, on Nougat everything is fine regarding this.
  25. It's because the services are crashing on oreo, I've reported it with logs, hope it will be fixed. It's causing other issues too. By the way, you don't have to create the widget again after reboot, just start Poweramp and the widget will update itself. Hope this bug affecting the services, will fixed shortly.
