  1. Hi,

If you search for a song and play it from the search box you can have it play on that song. If you'd rather just have a one song playlist every time you can just long press and add song to the queue list and that way only the songs you want to hear will play.

If you're simply selecting music from a list of song under and album the whole album will play following the song you selected, just as most other music player do.

Hope that answers your question with a solution.

  2. All you need to do to have Poweramp use Google Music tracks downloaded via the app is make sure that the folder Google Music saves to is selected as a folder to scan in Poweramp. I've been using it that way for a long time now.

That's one way to do it.

Max is still working very hard on 3.0, along with the others that are involved, when that update is released.. that's when Google Music support will be fully implemented. Max does not work on an ETA bases either, so we can't really provide one.

    Thanks

  3. Don't Apple frown on third-party apps which duplicate (even if they improve on) standard Apple functions?

    Andre

Yeah I think they do. That's why Opera and Dolphin browser weren't allowed in their app store for years, but now I think they've changed their ways.

  4. Yes please!

It would be hard to make this possible because some songs really aren't meant to be as loud as others and Poweramp would end up making either everything quite or really loud, plus wrecking the quality of the song because it's modifying the way it sounds... which might not really be a good thing. That's just how I see it though.

  5. Personally, I'd prefer Max's valuable development time to go into making Poweramp an (even) better audio player with easier and better playback controls, still more accurate audio, and other useful features - rather than making it into the Instagram of sound. Just IMHO anyway.

    Andre

Yeah that's the main focus right now, which means something like this might not happen just yet. We have to refine Poweramp, improve it, and add great new important functions like Google Music etc.

So for now, I'm not sure if this is going to be possible for quite some time.

  6. It's like that so people can go back to their home screen faster... And not the tracklist because there are too many possibilities of places people would want to go to if the Back button was setup that way. But if you click the song name below the play/pause button... You will go to the tracklist :)

This behavior was actually a requested feature before ;)
