  1. This hack fixed the issue for me. I agree the Samsung EQ is horrible. Thank you so very much for the help @maxmp very much appreciated!
  2. The latest Spotify update 8.9.70.556 has changed how PowerampEQ works on my Samsung S24 Ultra. PowerampEQ used to disable the stock Android EQ when playing music on Spotify. Now the stock EQ interferes with PowerampEQ. Example: Stock Android EQ is set to "Rock", and when I change it to "Normal", the EQ sounds for music playing from Spotify changes. I tested PowerampEQ on the Samsung Music player app and the stock Android EQ has no effect on the sound of the music. This seems to only effect Spotify when updated to the latest version, and there is aparently no way to roll back the Spotify app to a prior build. For PowerampEQ app I have the latest build 985 and I have made no changes to the settings on PowerampEQ since updating to the latest Spotify build. Any options on how to solve for this? Thank you!
  3. Spotify is up to date. I do not have an equalizer available in my Spotify app, and the equalizer option in Spotify takes me to the Samsung equalizer, which is not active when using Poweramp EQ app with Spotify. Also I do not see "bass boost" or "stereo expander" available in my Spotify app.
  4. When I start Spotify the sound is distorted, and then when I restart the song or skip forward, I hear a loud pop/scratch noise. I'm using a Samsung S24 Ultra on Android 14 OneUI 6.1, Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds, Poweramp EQ build-982 Premium 64bit. This only happens with Spotify and I have uninstalled both Spotify and PA EQ, cleared the phone cache, and just about every troubleshooting option I can think of. Does anyone have any suggestions, or have this same issue and resolved it? Thank you!
  5. Actually I made a post about this on March 6th, so it's not unique to this person and it's been reported for much longer than 4 days. You can also find this same issue posted several times on the Reddit sub.
  6. I've had this issue since One UI update in Dec but only for Spotify. I have raised this issue several times and even made a post here about it. The reply to my initial report was to uninstall and reinstall Poweramp equalizer but that does not fix the issue. Hopefully one day they'll fix this lol
