My bad that was not the problem, what caused this was the language setting, pretty sure now it happened again. Basically when the language is set to automatic, it works perfectly fine, but when i set it to english the issue is back, dunno why the problem comes from that setting though.

Looks like it was indeed this, I downloaded the app again and didn't import the parameters of the backup file and now it's all good

@maxmp hey, thanks for the answer, that's odd though, I even tried to uninstall and install the app again but it still did the same thing. I don't think I even did something with the phone settings before downloading the app. Could this come from the backup file i used which came from another phone (xiaomi mi 9t, so a different ui) ?
