@andrewilley I found the problem, I use a third-party launcher so the option was listed in a different menu under "Shortcuts" instead of "Widgets" Thanks anyway!

I've read that this app allows you to add shortcuts to playlists directly to the home screen, but I haven't been able to find the option to within the app or widget menu. Are playlist or album shortcuts still a feature?
