@clever_man, Yes, other programs seem to work fine. I can play videos in the video player, play music using google music, es-media-player etc. I can copy/move files between the internal and external storage. Only Poweramp is not able to play music. Thanks for your quick response.

How to play music on Poweramp from cloud storage like gdrive, mega, dropbox, etc ? Thanks!

Don't see any way to add the external MicroSD music folder to Poweramp in Google Pixel 2 XL. Is this a bug? It used to be fine with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
