      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code and is taking some time to get to a beta-test stage. See the forum thread for more details and to discuss.

  1. Andre your effort to protect Poweramp is commendable but problem is - help menu in app is useless. APP clearly does not have any option to point at specific music folder or playlist. It does not navigate to sd card. It pics audio files in some strange manner but won't find 2500 songs I have on my sd card or playlist I specifically created on the phone so maybe it can open that. Nope. So sure it's a nice toy but what good is it if you can't point it to what you want - or, there are no instructions how to? To buy it and use something else because it's dumb?
  2. I can't find way to route PA to SD card. Least to say, to a Music folder on it. It reads all and any folders and files, but I can't find a way to route it to SD card>Music. It's Android phone. Thank you
  3. Thank you for very nice app. I'd say, I spent more time taming it, so powerful amp and EQ are. Good times though. I can't decide, if I like "auto on upon BT connection" feature, and I can disable it from settings, but here's my Q. I am mostly streaming off TuneIn radio. I use MP3s only when something goes wrong with online radio. Or, I am on very long drives and don't want to overuse bandwidth. Is there a way to have PA cooperate with an online radio of user choice, just like it does with MP3s on my SD card? As in - when my BT adapter in the car connects, PA starts playing MP3s on SD card. I'd rather prefer it to start TuneIn radio and start playing off it. May be a far fetched request, but then I don't have to do all the 5 step dance, starting radio and waiting for PA to switch over to it. Which it does flawlessly. Guess, it's matter of convenience and laziness? Thank you
