andrewtjb Posted June 1, 2014 Share Posted June 1, 2014 Hi I recently installed Poweramp on my xperia m up until now i had been using the walkman player. I’ve noticed when playing music in Poweramp through headphones the sounds distorted like its being amplified so it sounds worse than the stock app. I’ve tried turning on musicfx but it resulted in the volume going really quiet. The other thing I’ve noticed is playing music through the speaker is louder than it should be and distorted turning off xloud in settings helps but I’d rather not have it off permanently. (For external Equalizer)I didnt had a problem on Android 2.37 (GB), but i needed 4.04 for new Apps. Runner Posted June 11, 2014 Share Posted June 11, 2014 Oh, I found a nice working glitch/bug. 1. Turning ON MusicFX (glowing button) > volume QUIET > external Equalizer ACTIV.2. Turning OFF MusicFX (not glowing button) > volume LOUD > external Equalizer INACTIV3. AGAIN: Turning ON MusicFX (glowing button) > volume QUIET > external Equalizer ACTIV4. AGAIN: Turning OFF MusicFX (not glowing button) > volume LOUD > external Equalizer ACTIV. GOAL!!!! So you have to press MusicFX until external EQ is activ + LOUD sound + CLEAR sound (not distorted). For me this is a serious (bug/glitch) while MusicFX is OFF and EQ is activ + clear sound + loud sound.The bad thing is: Everytime music stops you have to press again MusicFX until it works like above.Could Poweramp please do a option that this everytime works with a extra button or diff glowing button? Please it would be heaven! Edit: I use this external EQ: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smartandroidapps.equalizer&hl=de while others didnt even work.
