      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code and is taking some time to get to a beta-test stage. See the forum thread for more details and to discuss.

  1. I hope ChromeBooks (which currently support also Android apps) are target devices for Poweramp I got me a Samsung Chromebook Plus and Installed Poweramp. My music library on a 128G external SD Card (Sandisk) Poweramp let me "enable" the external SD card (folder settings) and discovered all the songs in there, but for some reason (it might be Poweramp or it might be ChromeOS) it failed to recognize the album art in each folder. It only shows the album art if the tracks in the folder have embedded album art. I maintain my library with individual folders for each album, and Folder.jpg files for the whole album Album art. It works well in other 4 android devices I have (smartphones, tablets)
  2. I recently received an Acer chromebook R 11 and bought this app on my phone and was excited to use it, but hit a wall when I couldn't find any solutions to my problem. Are there anyways I can play or add music to my Poweramp library through google Drive? Or is there an alternative way to add music to it?
