mojolomjl17
Hi I have just downloaded Poweramp and created a playlist but the songs are listed as unknown files. My question is can I name the songs, I have tried everything obvious but had no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
flyingdutchman
If your mp3 tracks are properly tagged they should show as expected. Do your library views such as artist, songs, albums show properly?
mojolomjl17
Thank you for your reply. The titles do not show so I think the best answer is to re do my list from a different source.
flyingdutchman
Once you have your tracks, use an mp3 tagger (either on Pc or android) to tag your music. In case you do not know, tagging means entering the artist's name, album name, track title etc. If they are totally untagged, I have used Windows Media player in the past but there may well be other sites/products where the track title is used to automatically tag your music (assuming the titles are valid of course) I use Audiotagger on android and Mp3 Tag Editor on Pc. mojolomjl17
Thank you for your recommendation, looks like Audiotagger will be the best way to go. I will give it a try and let you know.
andrewilley
I prefer using PC-based programs for lots of batch tagging. Phone screens are just terrible for a lot of typing and batch work. Andre
