Menu>list options not showing

Apologies if I"m missing something basic, but on help it says 'Menu>List options' for changing various settings. This does not appear to work. The menu button does not 'List Options.' There is is just 'settings' accessible from the top right hand corner of the screen.

You need to be in one of the Library or Folder views before you press Menu, as there are different List Options choices for each type.

Thanks would you be so kind as to tell me how to get to one of these 'Library Views' or 'Folder Views' because I can't find any views in which Menu>LIst options' works.

You need to drill down into a particular view - there are separate List Options available at folders, albums, artist, etc view (and also at the songs sub-level within each of those).

However you should see some List Options at the top Library level (where it controls which categories you see) and also at the top folders level (where you can set sort order and hierarchical /grid/etc view) but for some reason your device is not displaying the very top menu entry. Could you try regular vertical layout in case it's an issue with the landscape format? (The menu choice list should be scrollable in case they don't fit on a smaller screen, but that doesn't seem to be the case here).

[Edit: ah, tracked it down. The problem only exhibits itself in Landscape mode when you have the action bar placed at the top of the screen. To see the List Options item, use portrait mode or switch the action bar to the default location of the bottom of the screen using the option in Settings > Look and Feel > Menu]
