qwanza Posted March 13, 2011 Share Posted March 13, 2011 Sorry about bugging about this. Just read the replies to my other posts that explain this. I just think your player is great. I posted your replies on the Archos forums because some people over there are interested. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rokr Posted March 14, 2011 Share Posted March 14, 2011 Thank you Max! I was able to open the music folder on my external SD card using my Archos 70 . . . fantastic. Love the ability to reorder the queue also. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Setsunakute Posted March 14, 2011 Share Posted March 14, 2011 Hello Max,Thanks for updates ! But unfortunately that does not circumvent the issue w/ my dap.This still fails on all M4a tracks, the log is generated after playing a track copied from a purchased CD. Tag, length, fileinfo and cover art are detected properly. But it refuses to play.(Had to wipe settings before upgrading from 1.0-b296 to 1.2-b3xx, thus the player will crash due to the database)V/PowerManagerService( 1002): TimeoutTask - nextState=3, mWakeLockState=0D/TmWidgetProvider( 1105): updateAppWidget appWidgetId=22D/MediaStore( 3723): set highspeedclock pid = 3723E/ ( 3723): seek to 0 failedE/aacdecoder.c( 3723): mediaSource == NULLI/libffmpeg( 3723): Probed with size=2048 and score=100I/libffmpeg( 3723): ISO: File Type Major Brand: M4AI/libffmpeg( 3723): max_analyze_duration reached 5000000E/ffmpegdecoder.c( 3723): Unsupported sample rate=0I/libffmpeg( 3723): Input #0, mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2, from '/sdcard/Media/Music/Calm down & OST/Spirit/2-10 Wait till You See Him.m4a':I/libffmpeg( 3723): Metadata:I/libffmpeg( 3723): major_brand : M4AI/libffmpeg( 3723): minor_version : 0I/libffmpeg( 3723): compatible_brands: M4A mp42isomI/libffmpeg( 3723): track : 10I/libffmpeg( 3723): album : SpiritI/libffmpeg( 3723): artist : Ella FitzgeraldI/libffmpeg( 3723): title : Wait till You See HimI/libffmpeg( 3723): encoder : iTunes 10.1.1.4, QuickTime 7.6.9I/libffmpeg( 3723): Duration:I/libffmpeg( 3723): 00:03:52.50I/libffmpeg( 3723): , start:I/libffmpeg( 3723): 0.000000I/libffmpeg( 3723): , bitrate:I/libffmpeg( 3723): 352 kb/sI/libffmpeg( 3723):I/libffmpeg( 3723): Stream #0.0I/libffmpeg( 3723): (und)I/libffmpeg( 3723): , 218, 1/44100I/libffmpeg( 3723): : Audio: mp4a / 0x6134706D, 0 channels, 351 kb/sI/libffmpeg( 3723):E/Pipeline( 3723): mDecoder != nullD/AudioFlinger( 918): stop(4097), calling thread 3723D/AudioFlinger( 918): (> STOPPED) => STOPPED (4097) on thread 0x57e18D/AudioPolicyManagerALSA( 918): setOutputDevice() output 1 device 0 delayMs 372D/AudioPolicyManagerALSA( 918): ################### doing this check without conditions #####################################D/AudioPolicyManagerALSA( 918): ################### doing this check without conditions END ##################################D/AudioFlinger( 918): Track constructor name 4096, calling thread 3723D/AudioFlinger( 918): start(4096), calling thread 3723D/AudioFlinger( 918): ? => ACTIVE (4096) on thread 0x7e9f0D/AudioPolicyManagerALSA( 918): startOutput() output 1, stream 3D/AudioPolicyManagerALSA( 918): [baekss] AudioPolicyManagerALSA::getDeviceForStrategy enterD/AudioPolicyManagerALSA( 918): setOutputDevice() output 1 device 2 delayMs 0D/AudioPolicyManagerALSA( 918): setOutputDevice() setting same device 2 for output 1D/AudioPolicyManagerALSA( 918): AudioPolicyManagerALSA::checkAndSetVolume - volume_control_mode_set_by_app = 1I/AudioPolicyManagerALSA( 918): AudioPolicyManagerALSA::checkAndSetVolume device = 2, st=3 idx=50 vol=1.000000 (mode 1 spdif 0 hdmi 0 bt 0)I/AudioPolicyManagerALSA( 918): AudioPolicyManagerALSA::checkAndSetVolume - force_use_sw_vol =0D/AudioPolicyManagerALSA( 918): AudioPolicyManagerALSA::checkAndSetVolume - force_use_sw_vol==falseI/AudioPolicyManagerALSA( 918): AudioPolicyManagerALSA::checkAndSetVolume - hwvolume index set to 1072693248D/AudioPolicyManagerALSA( 918): volume for output 2130706432 mOutputs.valueFor(output)->mCurVolume[stream] 0D/AudioFlinger( 918): PlaybackThread::addTrack_l mActiveTracks.indexOf(track) -2D/AudioFlinger( 918): mWaitWorkCV.broadcastD/AudioFlinger( 918): PlaybackThread::Track::start() WM8960 ON .D/AudioFlinger( 918): remove track (4097) and delete from mixerD/AudioFlinger( 918): PlaybackThread::Track destructorD/dalvikvm( 3723): GC freed 8633 objects / 466344 bytes in 266msI may finally consider to reconvert aac files into ogg vorbis files to benefit from updates :oops: since you don't have the device for debugging purposes and sending files will not help( because all M4a files fail to play) . But there are a little more people who also have recently got this player (Cowon Plenue D3) and might encounter the same issues. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
admin Posted March 15, 2011 Author Share Posted March 15, 2011 SetsunakuteCorrect, the sample sent by you was played OK for both NEON and non-NEON devices I have. Thus this is most probably Cowon specific issue, strange one, though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sogarth Posted March 15, 2011 Share Posted March 15, 2011 The /mnt change confirmed to work on the Motorola Atrix; I can't speak for other devices, though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
emission Posted March 15, 2011 Share Posted March 15, 2011 How did you get build 330 on the atrix? The app store is only showing me 326 and the Atrix doesn't allow installation from unknown sources.Edit: Nvm, it just got added to the market today. andrewilley Posted March 15, 2011 Share Posted March 15, 2011 - support for rewind/fast forward for BT headsets (like SE MW600)Is there anything I need to do to enable this feature on the new version? My bluetooth car stereo still reports "feature not available on portable device" when I hold down its FWD/BACK buttons (on the car head unit, which is how you do ffwd or rewind on that unit). I have tried unpairing, deleting, and re-pairing the device (in case it needs to pick the new feature up at setup time) but still no joy.So I'm still stuck with waving my finger in the general direction of the phone's little on-screen buttons, in the hopes that I can find the right place and then keep that place held down for long enough while driving, which is not very safe! :? That's partly the reason I was asking for the jump ahead/jump back option (by simple left/right swiping of the trackpad) as that would be much easier - and safer! - to do while also trying to watch the road.Andre Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
toni_bmw Posted March 16, 2011 Share Posted March 16, 2011 HelloPoweramp is a very good player, but basically I spent the money on it for the equalizer and the option of going from "files", browse my music folders and open a song. Poweramp started playing this song and continued with other songs in the directory. It seems that the latest version has lost the last option (instead appear others I do not need as LastFM scrobbling). Going to turn this option or will be lost permanently?
