AudiOw
When I try to play a FLAC file on my Android phone through Poweramp, it just fast-forwards it without playing it. Also how do I automatically load tags from database on a file which I haven't yet tagged from the computer?
andrewilley
Sounds like the FLAC file isn't being read correctly. It might be worth trying the latest alpha-test release of Poweramp v3 (see the Downloads tab) as that uses a completely new audio engine intended to be more compatible with more file formats (including higher resolution and bitrate FLAC files). If a file doesn't have any tags, you obviously can't view them in Poweramp (you can edit/create some manually if you want, but it'd be much easier to do in a batch editor on a PC). Andre Hi Andre, About lyrics. Using Musixmatch application doesn't make the lyrics follow as the song plays and so I have to manually scroll. Is it possible to have them automatically scroll like in the custom media player?
andrewilley
No, Poweramp does not support that at present. Lyric support is relatively basic, not "karaoke level" just yet. PA is more about music quality, and adding bells and whistles tends to take a back seat when vying for the developer's time. (Sorry about the very mixed metaphor!)
