Steve-luo
I usually use my earphones buttons for volume control instead of change tracks. If possible, please add options to control the function of earphone buttons. Thanks!
andrewilley
There are apps around that can do that. Personally, I just edited the master generic.kl system file to adjust how the headset buttons respond on my Galaxy phone, but you need to be rooted to do that. Andre I did modify generic.kl to volume up and down, but Poweramp auto recognises it to be next/previous track. Edit: After I uninstall Poweramp it works fine again. This is how I did it, which works on all Samsung Galaxy phones that I've tried it on: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/headset-button-controller-galaxy-s3-t1767954/post28752382#post28752382. However as with all root-level editing, don't blame me if you make a mistake and brick your phone - backup first! Andre
