ray_lma
I have a Samsung S5 and the internal storage is getting full. I have added a sdcard. Is there a method to move the mp3 files to the sdcard and have my play lists work?
andrewilley
As long as your playlists are file-based, and use relative paths rather than absolute paths, they will work fine. If they are file-based but use absolute paths, you may need to edit them in a text editor to define the new locations (probably just a simple search-and-replace operation). Any internally created playlists will NOT work if you move the music, and they will become empty on the next rescan (as Poweramp will think the music has been deleted). You should first export them to file-based playlists, then move the music files and the new playlists to your SD Card, and probably then edit the paths. flyingdutchman
Just to remind the forum that external playlists ( aka file based playlists, m3u or m3u8) can be imported using New Playlist Manager app. Even if you moved your music, npm will find the tracks and recreate the original playlist with the new locations. Export to m3u and play in Poweramp.
