MikeBravo
Hi, Had no problems with Poweramp trial so bought licence but since then I have lost volume twice, it is the internal volume control that you get to through the equaliser that keeps getting set to zero, it took me ages to find the cause first time, is there any way to lock this to my device volume control or something. Also, didn't think about updates before but does a licence entitle me to them, and if it does, how long for?
andrewilley
I don't know why your volume is getting reset, but as far as purchases go you get free updates for the forseeable future. You might want to download the new trial version for v3 of Poweramp from the Downloads tab at the top of the page and see if you still get the same issue with volume? MikeBravo
Thanks, will give it a try. Is there a setting that I might have missed to tell Poweramp to start playing as soon as it starts, currently it always starts paused.
andrewilley
The option is not in the most obvious location - Settings > Headset/Bluetooth > Audio Focus > Resume on Start Andre
MikeBravo
Installed the beta but not impressed so far, is there any way to get the album art to display all the time like the old version, all I can get is the bar-graph thing or patterns, album art only comes up for a few seconds when I tap the screen. andrewilley
Yes, just turn the Visualisations off (in the slide-in panel from the right, under Visualisation change from 'Normal' to 'Disabled'). Andre
MikeBravo
Thanks for all that, I think they have moved the Resume on Start in the beta as I found it in the audio settings.
andrewilley
It's actually in both. Andre
MikeBravo
Hi again, is there anything like a manual for Poweramp as I still keep coming up with questions, like is there any way to exit the app, tried pausing it but it keeps coming back on. The thing with it turning it's volume control right down happened again yesterday. Just been going through all the settings again and the Resume on Start option is only in the audio settings now on my install

Sadly there is no manual, only a FAQ list. Once v3 gets a bit more complete and design locked down I might try to write a basic manual if enough people think it's worthwhile. To exit the app, either press the Back button a few times until it exits, or Home button. If it is playing, it will continue playing in the background (with controls available in the Notification area). As with all Android apps, that won't unload the app though unless your device needs the space or you manually discard it from memory. Andre I believe a manual would be outstanding especially when testing new versions.
