cidacit
Hello, A couple of Poweramp updates ago the feature of returning to the previous playlist after current queue is finished stopped working on my phone. Instead, the queue is repeated from the beginning after its end. Before, it worked without any problems. I didn't change any settings although I verified whether toying with different queue settings would change the situation - and it didn't. As it is a very useful feature, could you please verify why there may be problems with it? Anotheraccount
Same problem here. Moto X Play.
andrewilley
If the settings in Settings > Folders and Library > Queue are still correct, it does sound like you have Repeat List enabled (tap the icon in the lower-left of the artwork area in the player screen) Andre
Anotheraccount
So what's the point of the "auto advance from queue" and "ignore shuffle" options in queue settings? I'm not going to turn off shuffle and repeat whenever I use the queue and then go back and turn them on after its done. There's a setting to do that for me and it's broken. andrewilley
The queue is a type of playlist, and if you have Repeat mode set to "Repeat List" then that's what it will do. You can prevent the queue from being shuffled though. Andre
My1
well it would be nice that if you kick one file in (e.g. via file explorer) that that wont be set as a new list
andrewilley
Yeah, that bugs me to. That one file should be played as if it were an immediate queued item rather than taking you out of your preferred mode and into the start of All Songs. My1
Well the queue itself should imo not be seen as a list and the only thibg affecting that should be set after you get into it with default modes next list and no random.

As I said there is a setting called "auto advance from queue" and it's sole purpose of checking that box is to make this NOT happen. It's a bug and needs to be fixed. As of today my support ticket has been ignored for several weeks. I'm very close to wanting a refund.
andrewilley
No, the 'Auto-Advance From Queue' option is to make Poweramp return to playing the previous playback order after the queue is done (as opposed to playback stopping when the queue is finished). If 'Repeat List' is set, the queue (along with all other types of playback) will continuously repeat and so is never classed as completed. As far as I know, this is as designed, not a bug. To make PA exit and continue with other lists, set Repeat mode to 'Advance List'. There is already an option to exclude the queue from Shuffled playback mode, perhaps that option should also exclude the queue from Repeat modes too? If that is what is wanted, I'll move this thread to Feature Requests. Andre
My1
sound great enough. but excluding queue from playlist should really be done.
