Fact is the albums display screen will (not quite!) display 4 albums per screen with a label underneath each. This label can have a maximum of 17 characters and there is no ID3 that will change that. As long as the display screen contains 4 albums there will not be enough space underneath to display long album names. andrewilley Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 Ah, you didn't mention you were using Grid View, just albums. In which case, yes you are right, the grid view (which is an artwork based view) only shows a brief summary of the text under large images, just like desktop icons work. If you want to see more text and less artwork, use List View (from the albums display, Menu > List Options > View As... List). And for even wider text, use your device in landscape mode.
