dmachop
I got 940 songs playing from the queue where the current track count is 320. I wanted to try out some other tracks and played a track through Album view (which has 6 songs). Now the current playing status is 1/6. If I wanted to go to the queue, I could click on the previous list in the interface << and this showed me 1/940. If I am not doing this right, will I be able to resume from the current track (320) in the queue?
andrewilley
I think we answered this elsewhere, that you're really doing this the wrong way round... Ideally, play your 900 songs from the player's main interface (e.g. as a Playlist, or Genre, etc) and then just use the Enqueue feature to play a few temporary 'breakout' songs. You can long-press on an album title in the Albums list to Enqueue it, which will add all six songs into the temporary queue and start playing them, and then you'll be returned to the old playback order after all six have been played. Note: you can alter the Queue options to either start playing queued item immediately, or wait until the currently playing song has finished before starting on the queued list. If you want to make a 'backup copy' of your current largish queue, view those queued songs within the Library > Queue view, and then press Menu > Add to Playlist. You can then select individual songs manually if you want, but I highly suggest using 'Select All' for that amount of items! Then give this new list a title, and you've created a new Playlist containing all of your queued songs which you can return to whenever you want. Then clear the Queue so it's empty for when you need it next. Andre
dmachop
Thanks Andre. Now I am clear that queue is used for temporary playbacks.
