Manual song start

I need a "manual play" mode.  I'd like to be able to create a list, but then have Poweramp pause and wait until I manually click to play the next song, or simply manually launch an entirely different song (one other than the next one in line)

So basically what you want is a "single play" mode, where it stops at the end of every track and awaits you to either press Play for the next track in order, or choose something else.

Yes, Andre, you got the gist.  I suppose "Single play" is an adequate label/terminology.  Perhaps "manual advance" or something like that may also work. 

 

BTW, I haven't fully understood all of the existing functions/behaviors, including "[en]queue", fwiw. 

 

I would also like a manual fade-out trigger (unless one already exists!).  Simply click a visible button to fade-out, and cause a whatever length fadeout.  (The displaying of the fade-out button, and the fade-out duration is adjustable in the settings)

 

Perhaps I should post the latter as a separate feature.

You can set Poweramp to fade on Play/Pause/Stop (in Settings > Audio> Fade/Crossfade/Gapless) but it's a global setting, you can't currently enable it for just Stopping.

I asked for this about three years ago and was told it would be implemented at some point, but not there yet I'm afraid.
