Steve Kendell
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and on some of my album art in Poweramp I have changed the picture from the options provided as it is better quality. The problem is I had to do a reset on my phone recently and all the pictures went back to the embedded ones for that song and I am now having to change them all again. Is there a way in Poweramp that I can save the album art on to my MicroSD card that I have selected and not change back to the original embedded ones? Thank you in anticipation. andrewilley
At the moment, Poweramp does not support writing album art images back into MP3 files, although it is a much requested feature. You could copy the contents of the device's album_art data folder before doing a reset though, and copy it back afterwards. That should help. You could also use a backup app like Titanium Backup to automate that for you. The internal memory folder containing the art is /Android/data/_com.maxmpz.audioplayer/album_art .
