amardeep
On Android Lollipop, go to Settings > Sound & notification > When device is locked and choose Hide sensitive content. In this case Poweramp won't show media control buttons (Play/Pause, Forward, Reverse) on the lockscreen. Is there any setting that needs to be changed?Poweramp version: 2.0.10-build-
andrewilley
Is there any setting that needs to be changed? From your description, I'd suggest "hide sensitive content" should not be selected. I assume that it is treating anything which actively controls functions on the phone without unlocking it first as "sensitive". Andre
amardeep
I'd suggest "hide sensitive content" should not be selected. In that case all sensitive information i.e. the contents of WhatsApp messages, text messages etc are shown on the lock screen which causes privacy issues. Please note this doesn't happen with Google Play Music, Shuttle Player. I have checked and these apps allow controlling media even when sensitive information is hidden. This leads me to believe this is something Poweramp has to support inherently. "Desensitize" media controls maybe?
andrewilley
I'll forward this as a possible Lollipop-related code change. Andre
pencildique
For the record, I am experiencing the same bug on my Galaxy S5 running Lollipop 5.0. Latest build of Poweramp. This was not an issue with Kit-Kat 4.4.
Squid Tempest
Since Lollipop installed on my Galaxy S5 yesterday I have had the same problem with the lock screen controls. I also want to hide sensitive content on the lockscreen, so this is pretty inconvenient. Cheers!
justjt
I'm here to endorse it. Poweramp need to update so it uses the interruption stuff on lollipop, it should be just flag it as non-sensitive or something, shouldn't be hard to do, but it will make BIG improvment in usage for lollipop users.Other players already have controls in lock screen in lollipop, like podcast addicted. andrewilley
As I said earlier in this thread, I passed this request on to the app developer on 9 Dec, but I don't know how high a priority it has against Poweramp v3 development. Andre
