graphiceye1821
I listening to mixes that are bout an hour/ hour & a half long I start it on my bluetooth car stereo, but when I turn the car off, the song goes back to the start of the mix and not just paused from when it stopped, please help...what am I missing? It just gets annoying when I put my headphones in and want to continue from where I left off. andrewilley
It should remember the place, but I've seen dropped Bluetooth connections causing this issue occasionally too. Try stopping and exiting Poweramp before you turn the car off. graphiceye1821
Ye didn't work, it's with my new Note 4, I had the GS4 I sometimes did it, not everytime, plus I have the player on my lock screen for easy switch songs for driving too. I HATE IT!!! Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/6903-different-bluetooth-connections/#findComment-25827 Share on other sites
andrewilley
I listen to a lot of longer audio tracks too (mostly podcasts, which can be up to 1.5 hours at times) and I understand your frustration as trying to navigate to (say) 67 minutes into a long track is not easy, especially when driving! Does the same thing happen if you actually exit (unload) the player before disconnecting the Bluetooth? Of course it could be that the problem is happening at startup (reconnect) time, rather than during the disconnect. Once you are disconnected from the Bluetooth, if you then go back into Poweramp and try playing the track via the phone's own speakers, does it remember your place at that point? graphiceye1821
Once I'm about to turn off the car and/or turn off my bluetooth head phones, I have paused the player went back to the the home screen on the phone and then disconnected, but another thing I haven't tried yet is to close the app (all together) I'll try that today and see what happens. This could be a simple patch from going through all of this just to PAUSE the song on disconnecting bluetooth. Isn't there a request section for Poweramp? andrewilley
It's worth trying changing the Settings>headset/Bluetooth resume settings and see if that makes a difference.
