Search is "unusable" and causes application crash

I have submitted this via the Bug Form also.

 

Nexus 7 (2012) and Android 5.0.  All stock, no odd patches or mods.

 

Poweramp 2.0.9 build 564 - Google play with unlocker.

 

Search -

Now need to press RETURN to get the search to work rather than dynamic.

The list is dimmed down and is unreadable.

Scrolling down leads to application crash - only an OK, no wait or Report buttons.

 

Seems to play music OK.
