As far as I know the correct price for the app is $4 US, i.e. the same as the website price. In the UK Google Play Store that shows as £2.39, which equates to $4. If you can get it cheaper via your local Google Play store it might be worth setting up a card account (or getting someone to do it for you) and buying there.
