Voice search icon on main screen

Hi!

...hope to get a reply on this ?

 

Currently to start a voice search on my 8 inch tablet i have to do the following:

 

Click the search bars all the way to the right

select search

then when the keyboard pops out, select the voice search icon

 

 

Now, in my 10" tablet, the search option is available on the main screen

and sometimes, only sometimes, it appears on my 8" tablet (don't know why)

it just almost never there

 

So, can a voice search icon become an option to be enabled on the main screen (not necessary for everyone I imagine)
