Battery drain

Hi

 

In the last week or so, my Nexus 4 has been draining battery really quickly.

 

The only viable suspect is Poweramp - even when I am not using it, it seems to take up a lot of battery time:

 

I can't work out how to do pictures here, but my phone currently says that com.maxampz.audioplayer has used 40% of my battery in 1hr36mins - and I am not even playing any music.  Before that, I had charged the battery fully, and turned the phone on and off, to reset all services, and the battery display..

 

All topics that refer to this seem to be rebuffed by the Team, saying that Poweramp could not possibly be causing a problem - so please can you tell me where else I should look?

 

(Yesterday I removed the widget - that hasn't made a difference)
