Multiple Track Listings for each single track file

Loaded 600 songs in several album folders. Poweramp lists the same song 3 and 4 times over when only one song file exists. Track listings are identical, when "Info" popups are viewed for eack multiple listing: "Info" popup indicates that each listing of the song is in the same directory and the track # is the same.

I have set Library and Folders to look in only one directory on the phone: /external_sd/Music/ I have turned off autoscan. I have performed multiple Full rescans, which supposedly clears the track database and rebuild the track listings. Even after this I cannot seem to make Poweramp stop multi-listing tracks.

Why is Poweramp triple and quadruple listing songs in the same album folder?

• Your device model: LG L40G Smartphone
• Your Android version: 4.0.3
• Your Custom ROM name/version (if you're on custom ROM): Net10 ROM

On some devices/ROMs SD card has additional aliases. One of such paths should be unchecked in Poweramp settings => Folders and Library => Music Folders to avoid duplicates.

By default, Poweramp doesn't add extra aliased paths, so the duplications usually happen if the user checked extra paths previously.
