lush
With the shutdown of Winamp and all, I see a clear market opportunity for Poweramp on Windows. Currently there are no decent Windows media players that can handle massive music collections (>30000 tracks). Poweramp's heirachichal folder browsing ability suits this well. Although there are some Windows applications out there such as Foobar2000 and MediaMonkey that can support this, Poweramp's UI just feels so much more, well.... slick! the11ama
Winamp's not dead, it was saved by Radionomy: http://www.winamp.com. Would be interesting to see Poweramp in Windows, but I have no idea if that will ever happen. MrGoodtunes
Or, the really fun AlbumPlayer... It functions by dragging an album's artwork and dropping on the player, or into the queue list. Great for large touch screen. Has mobile device control app too. It's pricey, but there's a free version (with minor nag): http://www.albumplayer.com/ Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/6342-windows-support/#findComment-24092 Share on other sites
mwmoskwa
I see several sites that advertise themselves as Poweramp for windows. Are they bogus or is there such a thing? If there are, it's not the same Poweramp. Andre Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/6342-windows-support/#findComment-26290 Share on other sites

JohnnyGrey
I use MusicBee, and so far it's been fantastic, some little quirks too it, but overall a good player. I'm at about a 20,100 file collection. Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/6342-windows-support/#findComment-26566 Share on other sites
