okanagan Posted April 7, 2014 Share Posted April 7, 2014 I use Poweramp and my Nexus 7 tablet, in a dock, to play music through my sound system. It works great except I've run out of space in the tablet (grr google nexus and no sd card). Lots of space in my Nexus 5 phone. Is there a way I can run Poweramp on my phone and stream the music to my tablet so that it will then play to my sound system? Any advice is appreciated. Well, you could try messing around with SMB sharing via Wi-Fi and then a CIFS directory mount, but it'd be very convoluted. Could you not put your phone in the dock and play directly from there? The dock uses the Nexus 7 pogo pins so the phone won't fit but I think I'll just keep it simple and remove the 3.5mm jack from the dock and insert into the phone as needed.
