ashanrath
Apologies in advance if this information is somewhere already, I've just spent the last hour or so browsing through topics in here (including the FAQ) and Googling without any luck. Is there a list somewhere of the file types supported by Poweramp and the maximum supported bitrate for each? About to start ripping some old CDs and didn't want to have to bother with transcoding when I sync my device. maxmp
Bitrates make sense when we talk about compressed formats, e.g. like mp3/aac. All format supported bitrates are supported. If you mean sample bitwidth/sampling rate - this is a bit different matter. Thanks! ashanrath
In that case, can I confirm the max sampling rate supported by Poweramp? 24bit/48khz, 24b/96khz etc. Also, the the file types themselves? Obviously the most common all play, but is there a list of specific file formats that are supported? I.e. mp3, ogg, flac, aac, m4a etc. Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/5751-supported-files-maximum-bitrates-cbrvbr/#findComment-21921 Share on other sites
Ickabod
24/192 is supported as of build 548. As of now the most recent one. Not sure on a list of supported files.
