Action Bar issue

Hi everyone,

 

Under the Settings -> Look and Feel -> Menus path, the option to place the Action Bar on the bottom of the screen does not work.

 

The option is entitled: Bottom Action Bar - Action Bar at the bottom for Equ./Folders/Lib. screens Whenever I select it, a check mark appears in the box indicating that it's selected. I go back to the main screen and it remains at the top.

 

Any ideas? I've loved the convenience of having the Action Bar at the bottom of the screen as it makes access to the necessary options quite simple.
