Wired Headset controls not working on Android 4.2.1

My wired headset controls don't work when I want to change the track. I have only one button, but it should work when long-pressing or double pressing for the next track, but it only pauses or starts the music. Can you please look into it and fix this? I really want to be able to change the music via the headset button.

In Poweramp menu: Settings=>Headset=>Wired Headset=>Double/Triple press (check it).

I've already checked it! I've tried both: long press and double/triple press but all it does is play/pause the music. I have Android 4.2.1 on an Allview P5 Quad. Can this be an Android bug?

Have you tried raising the priority and that doesn't help?

Yes, I've already tried raising the priority but still it doesn't work. It only plays/pauses the music but I can't make it jump to the next song.
