Powerampapp does not read in folders on Nexus 7

Hello,

 

I just handed in my bug report via the google form. This is what I posted:

 

I have two Google Nexus devices, one older (Nexus S) and the new Nexus 7 (2013). On my Nexus S Poweramp works fine, but on the Nexus 7 folders do not get read in. I get this error message:

 

Ordner sind nicht verfügbar. Bitte vergewissern Sie sich ob die SD-Karte bereitgestellt ist, die USB Massenspeicher Verbindung deaktiviert ist und Musikordner in den Einstellungen ausgewählt sind. 

 

Then I get 2 choices: Ordner auswählen and Automatische Suche. However, neither one works.

 

I get a constant "Loading" message with a turning circle. 

 

As an update: After waiting for more than 5 minutes I suddenly got my folder structure with checkboxes. I chose a few I have music files in and clicked okay. However, in the "Poweramp Einstellungen" the first item (Neu einlesen) is grayed out and the loading circle continues turning. I still can't play any file/song. 

 

 

I would greatly appreciate your help.
