EQ Settings Keep Resetting

I can set the EQ preset to what I like and it works fine until the next song, then the preset goes back to the previous setting. How do I make it so that it keeps the preset?

Do you have any preset assignments? Assigned presets have appropriate small icon next to their Frequency Curve in presets dialogs. You may need to unassign such presets, otherwise they will take priority over your settings.
