Q: How to play tracks my trackname order?

Recommended Posts

Hello.

First of all, I'm not sure if this is the right section of the forum for such questions.

But anyway, here's an example:

I have a playlist which I made and the filenames are 01. asda 02. gsd 03. hagsdf, etc.

Poweramp plays them by tags and not by filename.

How to make it play the tracks in filename order?

I have the trial version.

Any help would be appreciated.

Use 'Folders' mode rather than 'Library' mode, then you can select how you want the folders and files sorted using the List Options setting in the menu.

Ok, but can you tell me the path to this option.

Settings, then?

It's in the main music list - at the bottom of the screen you can select Folders or Library mode.

Well, yes. And then I go to a certain folder and then the tracks are in tag order (or some other order, idk), not in filename order.

It's like it ignores the 01. 02. 03. infront of the filenames.

As I said before, you can select how you want the folders and files sorted using the 'List Options' setting in the menu once you have set Folder view. You can sort by filename or path (which is my choice) or some other options. Note: There is a different set of sort options for the top level Folders view and for the view of the actual files listed within those folders. It's really quite flexible

Yes, now I found it.

Thank you very much!

Have a nice day!
